Civic Youth Theatre Classes are conducted in a non-competitive atmosphere in which young people can develop their imagination, explore their creative potential and feel positive growth in self-confidence and self-expression. Group-building and ensemble support create a non-failure environment.  Our classroom is the stage, scene shop and lighting booth of the Monon Depot Theatre where students experience "hands-on" learning in a vital and creative arena.

2010 Summer Camps

This year we will be presenting Annie Jr.  Camp dates are June 26-July 23, with performances on July 23, 24 and 25.  Due to the popularity of the camp performance, we have added one additional matinee on Saturday afternoon.  Also, camp registrations will not be taken until March 1.  It will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. If the camp fills up, we will have a waiting list for interested persons.  We will also need tech crew members for the last week of camp, so if you are not an actor, but would like to participate, this could be a great job for you.

In addition to the 4-week camp, we will offer one-week camps for kindergarten-6th grade.
